Having taken voluntary redundancy from HM Customs and Revenue, Ann Cousins found that although she had 28 years of office skills, she had no certificates or awards to verify her experience and as a consequence, decided to study for the Pitman Training Accounting Technician Diploma.  “I had so much support from the staff at the Swansea centre, who are incredibly welcoming, friendly and amenable. Thanks to them I have now acquired the necessary qualifications to return to the workforce.  I now have a job as an office administrator, duties of which include book-keeping and payroll operation.  Without the course, I probably would not have been offered the position”.
