Viv decided to undertake training to get new skills and open up new job opportunities. When searching online for training providers, Viv recognised the name of Pitman Training, trusted us over the other companies she found, and decided to ‘go with what she knows’, as she knew we would be able to deliver high quality training.

Training with Pitman Training helped me a lot when looking and securing a job. The position I am in now did not ask for any secretary qualification, however, without my training I would not have had the confidence when starting my new position.

Ann Cousins found that although she had 28 years of office skills, she had no certificates or awards to verify her experience and as a consequence, decided to study for the Pitman Training Accounting Technician Diploma.

I believe enrolling at was the best investment I have ever made. After doing the course for a while it gave me the confidence to look for a new job in the medical field.

I was made redundant early last year. I had always thought it a possibility, but when it actually happened it was quite a shock and took some major adjustments.

Lorraine was made redundant earlier this year from her job in IT, and decided to make use of this opportunity to retrain. She had trained in accounting years ago, and have a very strong desire to go back.

"I enquired at the Croydon Pitman Training centre back in September, knowing that I did not want to go to University because I don’t enjoy the classroom environment and do not like course-work. I did however know that I wanted to gain my independence, self motivation and confidence and to earn a salary and felt that being a PA would be ideal."

After spending the last 10 years as a beautician, Noelle Sloane finally decided it was time for a change in career. Noelle took Pitman Training’s Medical Secretary Diploma which has helped her to pursue a career in the health sector.
