Administrative Assistant Diploma Helped Hadeeqa Secure an NHS Role

Pitman Training Gave Me the Confidence to Change Direction

When Hadeeqa enrolled at Pitman Training Peterborough, she was working at Amazon and looking for a way to move into a different career path. Through the Amazon Career Choice programme, she chose to study the Administrative Assistant Diploma, alongside medical administration modules, with the goal of securing an administrative role within the NHS.

As a full-time worker, flexibility was important. Hadeeqa enjoyed being able to study around her schedule and access her learning materials through the online training portal whenever she needed them.

Throughout the programme, the team at Pitman Training Peterborough supported Hadeeqa with her studies, helping her stay on track and complete the course before the deadline. Beyond the qualification itself, she also received support with CV preparation, interview questions and workplace expectations.

Hadeeqa worked closely with her Learning Coach, who encouraged her to apply for NHS roles and helped her prepare for interviews, giving her the confidence she needed during the application process.

That support paid off.

After completing her diploma, Hadeeqa secured a new role as an Administrative Assistant at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Today, Hadeeqa is using the skills she gained during her training in her day-to-day role and is continuing to build her career within the healthcare sector.
