Module One – Why Well-Being Matters in Hospitality:
Explore the impact of hospitality work on stress and health, and discover strategies for achieving a healthy work-life balance.
Module Two – Supporting Mental Health and Colleagues:
Learn how to manage stress, address substance misuse, and support colleagues in maintaining mental wellbeing.
Module Three – Introduction to Workplace Safety Standards:
Understand key safety regulations such as OSHA, COSHH and learn to identify hazards, recognise risks, and prepare for emergencies.
Module Four – Preventing Injuries in Hospitality Environments:
Study how to reduce slips, trips, and falls, apply ergonomic safety practices, and use PPE and equipment safely.
Module Five – Fire Safety and Emergency Response:
Gain skills in responding to fire emergencies, using extinguishers correctly, and leading safe evacuations.
Module Six – Chemical Safety in Food and Hospitality Operations:
Learn to interpret product labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and apply safe handling practices for hazardous materials.
Module Seven – Guest Safety and Crisis Management:

Participants must have completed the Introduction to the Principles of Hospitality.

Rest assured we have a number of payment options available to ensure the cost of training is affordable and can be worked alongside your other financial commitments. Self-Funded:

Funding & Grants:
There may be the opportunity to apply for funded grants that can help towards the cost of training. These include the Skills Development Scotland ITAs and the ReAct programme in Wales. All schemes will have different terms and conditions that will need to be met in order to qualify for a grant and these are managed by each individual centre.
